Christmas is a great time of year, but many of us have very different feelings about the festive period.

For some Christmas time is a time of magic, joy and great songs. For others Christmas is a time of commercialisation, irritation, and awful music.

Some people have Christmas lighting that can be seen from space, while others think a wreath is too ostentatious. There will be some people who will start writing their (hundreds) of Christmas cards in January. But some people would prefer if it everyone just used email.

Few Christmas decorations are as polarising as the Christmas tree. Perhaps you are someone who knows that a Christmas tree has to be real, at least ten foot tall, and covered in tinsel and baubles. Yet others only begrudgingly let a fake tree into their house and recoil in un-festive horror at the thought of pine needles.

Every one of you will know someone who is so Christmas it hurts and someone who makes the Grinch look like Santa Claus. If you don’t know someone like that it’s probably you!
