Modern day packaging is a result of centuries of experimentation with materials and design that suite as a covering, a vessel, as an envelop or in some cases as a protective layering for the object to be packaged. Some packaging designs by designers today are so far out that they seem like as if they jumped out of a sci-fi story. Some packaging today is to clever that its difficult to separate the packaging from what it is supposed to package. The role of packaging has moved beyond packaging to the art of delivering the brand message.
