The Economic Value of Business Signage [Infographic]

Economic value of a signage thumbnail

The backbone to any brick-and-mortar storefront or business is their sign. People walking down the street notice high quality, beautifully designed signs and will often base their first impression of the business on it. People that see a business that takes spends time and effort on storefront signs must do the same with their products or services.

In order to further research the importance of signs, Bay Area-based signage designer and fabricator Blue Pond Signs created an infographic that explores the trends of business signage. One of the most fascinating facts noted are the economic benefits of business signage. For example, 65% of businesses that added or upgraded their signage saw sales increase an average of 12%. Concurrently, 55% of businesses saw profits grow an average of 10%. To see that kind of increase by simply hanging a nice sign outside is quite amazing.
