e-Waste On The Rise: Tackling The Electronic Waste Problem [Infographic]

e-waste on the rise

Continuing on the cause to bring attention to the issue of e-waste we are sharing this infographic from Customemade, a great marketplace for locally designed and produced custom goods and Ghergich PR. The problem of e-waste is much bigger than often visualized. It is difficult to assess the global extent of this menace but one thing we can be certain of is the effect on health. The traces of heavy metals like lead, cadmium, chromium and other non metallic but toxic material found in e-waste are quite easily assimilated in human anatomy through polluted water, food and fumes. Children are the most affected by the unsafe disposal and recycling of e-waste. The solutions for this issue are far from perfect but not everything is hopeless and newer more eco-friendly ways are being found. Please share this post and help us increase the awareness to the matter of e-waste and its effects.
