Job stress costs United States companies an estimated $300 billion annually.  That is a number to high to ignore. This figure is a result of employee turnover, absenteeism and a loss of productivity. There are many reasons for stress at work and they vary from each business as each business operates differently. However there are many common causes of stress in the workplace. Sometimes it has to do with low salary pay for employees and other times it has to do with workload, drama between employees, lack of communication and long hours among other reasons.
