Being the victim of a home invasion whether you are in the house itself or not when it occurs is a terrifying experience. Obviously if you are in the home while the burglary takes place your own personal security becomes your main priority and you should never approach a burglar as you have no idea if they are armed.

Knowing that someone has being going through your home and your personal items feels like a personal invasion and you end up feeling uneasy if when you reinforce your security after the event. Many burglaries are definitely preventable however and it’s possible for you to set your home up to prevent an unwanted visitor.
