Telemedicine refers to the usage of telecommunication methods to provide healthcare and medical services remotely. The use of telemedicine has spread widely and is now becoming an integral part of the healthcare delivery experience. The underlying idea is to connect healthcare seekers with healthcare providers through appropriate technology solutions resulting in remote healthcare delivery experience.
While the benefits of telemedicine have always been known, these benefits are getting more attention now days due to the impending challenges foreseen by the healthcare sector.
